The Motorola XTNi and XTNiD are licence free walkie talkies which follow on from the XTN446.

Suitable for many applications such as schools, colleges, paintballing, leisure, camping, business and anywhere communications are required on a site. The radios use the normal two pin accessory socket for earpieces and headsets. Range is dependant on terrain and conditions, expect up to six kilometres in open flat country and over water, this can drop down to five hundred  metres or less in a thick forest or city centre. Protea Electronics offers a repair service for these and other two way radios, repairs can be posted, send by courier or dropped off at our workshop in Basingstoke.
